INGREDIENTS
Boston Cream Filling
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups scalded milk 1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon gelatine 1 tablespoon shortening
1/4 cup cold milk 2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
RECIPE
Mix sugar, salt, beaten eggs and shortening, pour over this the scalded milk. Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until mixture coats the spoon, then add gelatine softened in cold milk and the vanilla. Cool before using.
