INGREDIENTS
Spiced Honey Nuts

cup honey a 1 and 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening 2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons mace
1 cup chopped nuts
RECIPE
Cream the shortening, add the sugar gradually, stirring until
well-blended. Add the well-beaten egg, honey, and the flour, baking
powder, salt and mace sifted together. Beat thoroughly and add the nuts.
Drop by small spoonful on greased baking sheet, leaving a two-inch space
between each cookie for spreading. Bake at 375 degrees.
