1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons melted shortening |

RECIPE Sift dry ingredients together twice. Beat egg yolks well and add to the milk, add this mixture to the dry ingredients slowly, then add shortening and fold in well beaten egg whites. Bake on hot waffle iron. If waffles are allowed to remain on an electric waffle iron for a few seconds after it is opened they will be more crisp. |
